With NASCAR's most popular race, the Sharpie 500 presented by the NEW Sharpie Pen, on the horizon, the search is on to find the most fervent fan of both Bristol Motor Speedway and the Sharpie 500, set for Aug. 23.
Now through August 15, fans can visit www.bristolmotorspeedway.com, click on the Sharpie 500/Bristol Motor Speedway FANatic banner and then, in 250 words or less, give their most heartfelt testimonial about why they are a BMS/Sharpie 500 FANatic. The words Sharpie and Bristol Motor Speedway must be included in each entry.
Fans also can grab their favorite Sharpie and mail in their entry to: FANatic Contest, Bristol Motor Speedway, 151 Speedway Blvd, Bristol, Tenn. 37620.
Those entered will be qualified to win the Sharpie Autograph Canvas Board signed by every Sprint Cup driver who competed in the 2007 Sharpie 500, including winner Carl Edwards and other favorites such as Dale Earnhardt, Jr., Jeff Gordon and Tony Stewart.
All entres must be received by 11:59 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 15, 2008.
