The 24th annual Super Grip NHRA Thunder Valley Nationals at historic Bristol Dragway will continue to comprise part of the NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series regular season in 2025, it was announced today by NHRA and track officials.

The fan-favorite race will once again be event No. 8 on the NHRA's 20-race nationwide tour in 2025, part of an intense summer stretch of races and returning to its traditional weekend of June 6-8. 

Defending Bristol race winners in the NHRA Mission Foods Series are Tony Schumacher in Top Fuel, Austin Prock in Funny Car, Jeg Coughlin Jr. in Pro Stock and Gaige Herrera in Pro Stock Motorcycle.  

The event will continue to offer two rounds of pro qualifying on Friday, including a nighttime session with fireworks, two final pro qualifying sessions on Saturday and final eliminations on Sunday afternoon. Fans will want to take advantage of the amazing access, as every ticket is a pit pass. The tradition-rich event also holds one of the biggest driver autograph sessions each season following Saturday's final nitro session.
